Board & Train FAQ

We offer an in home training experience, rather than a facility training experience.  This allows for your dog to get “real lifestyle” training within the activities of a day to day routine. This program is meant for the owner who wants to maintain their dogs progress rather than wanting to continue teaching at home after weekly 1:1 sessions.

What does a typical day of Board and Training look like for my dog?

Every morning kicks off with a potty break.

Once pottied, your dog will work on ‘Place Duration’ and will jump on the treadmill to stretch their legs and get some exercise.

Breakfast time! Each dog is individually worked through their drills with their breakfast and then taken on a training walk.

Once the morning training sessions are done, we head back into the crate for some down time while we set up for the rest of the day.

Midday starts off with Pack Social Groups. Social group time allows for each dog to utilize the tools they’ve learned during their stay, bouncing from getting to goof off and play with each other to recalling to ‘Place’ or ‘Down’. This creates the ability to go from excited to calm around one another.

Those not ready to be a part of our Pack Social Groups or who are just starting out in their program will get an individual training session during this time.

Each dog then gets a training session using their dinner and we head out for another training walk.

Every dog will then get a final potty break before they are off to bed for the night.
